Guys I need help! I have been asked to make chocolate and vanilla cupcakes for a bridal shower. They want chocolate and vanilla, BUT they also want me to do a different and new filling. icon_rolleyes.gif

I can do this, but due to the design the icing swirl has to be white. BUT I do core out the middle a bit for a flavor to be inside. I just need something new and different, anyone have any ideas?

You don't need to core a cc to fill it. Just take a smallish round tip - oh about #4 - and use a filling that is strained/smooth.
Fill a pastry bag just as if it were b'cream icing and push the tip into the cc and squeeze - not too much - the more you put in the more chance it will come back out. One good squeeze is all that is needed.

What to use as filling? Raspberry or strawberry or lemon jam or pie filling or buy the sleeved fillings. Choco ganache; bavarian cream; cherry; butter pecan b'cream; fruit baby food; ice cream topping; there are sooooooo many ideas one can use.
