I am trying to make a Wizard of Oz cake. I have all kinds of ideas of what I could do but I dont know how much would be too much. I dont want it to be too plain but on the other hand I dont want it to be too busy. I have looked @ pictures of cakes others have done. The pictures that I kind of liked others did not like at all. They thought the cake had too much going on. I would just like some input from others to help me make this cake a success. Thank you in advance for helping me!

How about just Dorothy and Toto sitting on the yellow brick road?

A rainbow with a little farm house at one end and a munchkin or two or Glinda at the other end, then a yellow brick road leading out of munchkin land to the emerald city.

I like the idea KristyCakes had of just Dorothy in her red shoes and Toto on a yellow brick road. However, I don't think these are that busy either, but thats my opinion.
