Can I use 1/2 butter and 1/2 crisco?
Would I have to double her recipe for a 2 tierd cake, bottom layers are 12inch and the tops layers are 9 inch, how much do you think I need to make?
I would need a double recipe for that.
I've never tried it with butter because of the heat here, but I've read that other people did and it worked.
I just add butter to the recipe- salted butter - and I double the recipe for that size cake. HTH
