How would you go about painting on candy melts? Would you use candy coloring and paint it straight on or thin it with alcohol? Or would you paint it with other melted candy in the desired color? Any help is appreciated.

i paint in the mold with candy colors (like little paint jars) into the deatils of the mold, put in freezer, then pour the actual chocolate on top n back in to freezer then pop out and the details will be there. if you have a craft store near you that has the bag of multicolored candy melts. that would be perfect b/c you could break a small piece of the candy melt disk off from the color of your choice and just melt a tiny bit at a time and use that to paint the details in the mold as well. but i dont thin the coloring at all.

I paint in the mold too. You can also use luster dust on them.
