i am making a boobie cake but am at a loss for how to make the belly button where it looks ok on the cake. it will be covered in buttercream.

my aunt told me she always used a silver button and stuck it into the cake for the bellybutton but i dont know...

id just do a little bc 'c' shape (or filled in circle, since i guess it shoud be popped out - maybe see what looks right on it!), rather than get too into it, realism is not your friend with this kind of cake (in my opinion).

If you're using a crusting buttercream, just make an indentation in it with your fingertip after the buttercream has crusted.

I rolled out a small snake out of fondant and made it into the shape I wanted, then flattened it and put it on the cake.
