12X16X3 Pan How Many Servings?

I can't find anywhere online how many servings this cake pan will feed~ anyone know? I need to make 50-75 servings.

not sure if this will help or not, but (by the Wilton chart) a 11x15x3 serves 90 (wedding servings) and a 12x18x3 serves 108 (wedding servings). I don't see a 12x16x3 pan anywhere, so if you go in between these 2, it should give you an idea.

The nice thing about square/rectangle pans is that you can do the math to figure the number of servings.

A single layer (2" tall) cake, when cut in the industry standard of 2x2x2" pieces, means the cake would be cut in 6 rows by 8 columns = 48 servings.

A double layer (4" tall), when cut in the industry standard of 1x2x4, means the cake would be cut in 12 rows by 8 columns = 96 servings.

If you plan to cut the single layer in 2x3" pieces, just re-do the math. thumbs_up.gif
