Hi everyone
I'm very new to cake decorating and haven't done anything of my own but I am doing a course at the moment and am over half way through.
I have seen a cake on here which is a love heart shaped, but then the cake covered in black and white fondant, done up like a tuxedo.
With father's day just a few weeks away, I thought it would be a great project for me.
I can make flowers so I can complete it with a corsage, but I don't really know how to do anything else!
I am guessing I would measure the cake and get the trims of the jacket to size of the cake tin. I do not know how to make a bow tie at all though.
Can anybody help out or suggest ways? Also would it be make from modelling paste or fondant?
Bianca

easy -- here's a template to print out

and for the bow -- the tutorial charmed sent you shows the basics of the bow -- two changes for a tux bow tho'

1) no tails
2) don't scrunch the part that covers the joint -- it should be smooth.
