I need a cake just for show, so I was going to make a cake out of dummies, but how long will it last and look nice? I need it for the first weekend in October, how soon can I make it? I'm getting impatient and want to start making ideas! haha icon_smile.gif

I would go ahead and make it now while you have the time. You can keep them (dummies) for years. The icing will need ample time to dry anyway.

I'm thinkiing about trying to find some time to work on some new dummies for a wedding show in Jan....just be sure to keep them covered and out of sunlight as it will fade your colors very quickly!
