Hi, has anyone ever tried the satin ice brand fondant from global sugar art? (how is the quality of it over other brands)

Also how about the flavored fondant from fondarific?

I think Satin Ice is pretty good, especially for commercially made fondant. Sorry I haven't tried fondarific before so cannot comment.

Some very well know cake decorators use Satin Ice.

Here's their website (you can see three big names on the home page and then if you go to the testimonials you'll see several more).

I figure if it's good enough for them it will be good enough for me.

I also like making my own (I use MFF - Michele Foster's Fondant and add white chocolate to it - I use milk for the liquid). Her recipe is in the recipe section.

I use Satin Ice all the time and love it. I've tried Fonderific and the flavors/colors are pretty cool, but a bit more pricy. Since Satin Ice is more affordable I'll be sticking with it until I get a request that it can't cover. Good Luck!
