Hi everyone..I want to surprise my daughter and make her a cake of our cat. I'm not real sure how to go about it. My initial thought was to use a loaf pan for the body and the mini muffin pan for his paws. I've never made a cake like this so I'm completely guessing.
I've attached a picture of our cat so you can see what he looks like. Its hard to tell in the picture but he has long fur and a pink nose.

TIA.. icon_smile.gif

Wilton used to sell a cat pan....you could look on eBay and then do it in the colors of her cat. Good luck icon_smile.gif Post a picture when it's done...I love cats and I am owned by 2 of them icon_wink.gif

Easiest way to do this is to do large circular cake and the carve away, make the cat sleeping, curled up in a semicircle, this makes for the least work and the cake will look cuter.
