hi

I need to work on a two tier cake for a baby shower.
The first tier is light purple and the top tier is light pink
There will be scroll work on the entire cake..

i m confused on the color choice of scroll work..
which color would look good on light purple and light pink.. Black is not an option...

I can even go with two different colors with each tier.

Any suggestions..

would appreciate all your responses.

thanks

Not sure if this will work or not but what about a shade or two darker pink on the pink and purple on the purple.

I'd use white. It's neutral and it combines with both backgrounds.

I would do the same, because it will "pop" more as well.

my vote is either white or a shade darker of the same color for the tier its on. So slightly darker purple on the purple tier etc!

I think the white would be a nice POP and a bit dramatic for a pastel base. If you are wanting to be more subtle, go for the dark shade to match the base.

Hi, I like everyone's suggestions. Since Blue and red (pink) make purple, you could use blue and it matches. Or a pink mixed with purple!!! Look up color theory on the internet......

I think green would look nice, a pastel-ish lime green.
