Hello Cake Friends,

I'm thinking about purchasing an Edible Printer and would like your feedback on "the good, the bad & the ugly".

Is there a comparison chart somewhere (like there is for the Cricut & Silhouette)?

Thanks.

Bev

I had a Canon ip1500, which is discontinued. It was ok, but I didn't use it alot, maybe 20times in 2 years, it clogged alot & then it died.
I recently bought a Canon (WHY??) 3600 and it has not worked. at. all.

I've never used Epson, but it HAS to be better than Canon...

I purchased an Epson today for $28 at Target!! Figured I didn't have much to lose if it doesn't work. Can anyone tell me where to purchase the edible ink cartridges?

Look on kopykake's site and see if they have cartridges for the model you purchased. If not, you might be able to get refillable cartridges (new, empty ones) on ebay and buy the refillable ink from kopykake. I have an epson and I love it. I refill my own cartridges and it saves a lot of $$$. I also don't have to worry about resetting the chips.
