Did you make a sheet cake under it, or did you just use the ball pans

I did mine as a half sheet cake with half the soccer ball as the belly and large cupcakes as the boobies. The dome after baking was perfect and I just cut a bit off the bottom of each.

I did a big belly cake a couple of weeks ago but the Wilton ball pan wasn't big enough for what I needed so I baked the belly in a Pyrex bowl. The boobs were baked in little noodle bowls. For some more height I put another cake round under the belly and it did the trick.

Irish -your cake is so cute! I love bodice of the dress and the little butterflies!

And Luna - that is one BIG belly cake! It turned out great!
