I HATE IT!! It made me gain 5 lbs overnight and I always need to double the recipe because I eat half of it! I dislike frosting, but this one is just soooo yummy! Thanks Debi!

lol. seriously. I would have to agree. My brother tasted it and said it was crack cocaine. Not that he would know what crack cocaine is like, he's only heard stories of course. . .

Her recipe has converted a couple of my friends who disliked frosting.

I have to agree.......I used the same old Buttercream recipe from the bakery for 40+ years.......used Indydeb's once and I was converted......only trouble is.......when I make it, I can't stay out of it.

LOL! Her icing is delicious. And can I just tell you - I can't find any Dream whip around here. I have gone to two different Wal-marts and they have been sold out. (I saw the sticker with the price that said Dream Whip, just no boxes of the stuff). How annoying!!!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only person who makes extra "just in case." It's so yummy!! I add a bit of almond flavouring, and it becomes deadly.

Hey Cylstrial, I found the dream whip here at our wal-mart. It's just about a 20 min. drive from Michael's right on 37. I just made it for the first time recently, and will make no other from now on!

OK, can someone give the address for her recipe. I'm terrible at searching.

I used my taste testers at work the first time I made it, and now that's all they request except when they want chocolate - then they want the crusting chocolate BC I found on this site!

Yes, Indydebi's bc rocks!! I hadn't heard of Dream Whip 'til I joined CC, found it at my Wal-mart, and fell in love w/ frosting icon_lol.gif Haven't tried her recipe in a chocolate version yet, but plan to in a couple of weeks. I loves me the chocolate though, so if the choc version is as good as the regular- the icing might not make it on the cake! icon_biggrin.gif

How does her recipe work with piping flowers?

I think it works very well for so many decorations. I make ugly roses, but that's not the icings fault icon_biggrin.gif They turn out very well formed.
