My Mother-in-law ask me to make a 2 dz of cookies for her friend. She said that the lady likes Martini. So I will make Martini cookies, some Happy faces and what else would go with this?? We are trying to make it mix of cookies.
you can just flood them with the yellow and lime RI then maybe paint them ontop with diltued paste colour to get that realistic streaky effect with the inside and the top of the rind bit on the inside.....here is some i did in fondant for some cupcakes for an example....just an idea, otherwise just do them in RI to make it a bit more simple or fondant...i'll shut up now lol
You could ask if she likes "girly" things like purses or you could see if she likes margaritas, too, and add some margarita cookies! And if she DOES like margaritas, you could tie in the summer-y feel of margaritas with flip flops and umbrellas, etc.
Here is the link for a really cute margarita cookie cutter if you don't already have one!

I'm just jumping in to tell Elise87 that I think her cookies rock! And ZlatkaT, I have faith in your abilities to do a fantastic job on these cookies.
Okay I have to know how Elise did those lemon cookies!! I know Confetti Cakes has fruit slice cookies in one of her books but these are even more amazing!
How about an asprin bottle after all those Martinis...
that's funny. Let me check with my in laws, if the lady would took it as a joke. I like that idea, can't stop laughing.
whoops just to jump in here to clear up that the lemon slice pic above wasn't really a cookie it was actually made from fondant but kinna interested to see if i could make cookies looking exactly like the fondant one....would that be ok if i made some lemon slice cookies too if you decide to end up doing them ZlatkaT?
P.S ZlatkaT, your avatar cookie is so cute!
Elise87, you are too cute, the lemon is your idea, please go ahead and do it
I am not sure yet with what mix I will go, will see what my Mother-in-law will say.
I love your cookies, cakes and fondant goodies, you are very talented!!!
Thank you again.
Zlatka
