Has anyone done a FBCT and not outlined the character in black?? I am going to do Silvermist the Fairy and I am wondering how to outline her. I would think that the black on her face would not look good. What should I do??

I wanted to ask:

Should I out her face in flesh color and then her hair in black?? I am new at these FBCT and the only ones that I have done have been outlined in black. Thanks!!

I usually outline the face in a darker shade of flesh than I fill in with. I agree with you that the black does not look so good on fairies.

It doesn't matter what colors you use, just like when you're drawing something. Use whatever you're comfortable with, looks good, and will show the contrast you want.
