My daughter is having a baby boy in December and as his Dad is a fireman, his baby shower is a fireman theme? She wants to have cupcakes and wants fireman themed toppers. I would like them to be edible, but I don't know where to begin. Should they be candy molds or can you make fondant fireman helmets? Any ideas would be welcomed and photos would be GREAT. Thanks so much. Also, cookie ideas are welcomed as well.

Thanks.

Candy molds sound like a great idea unless you want to make each one by hand. Which would be absolutely darling, but time consuming to say the least.

Candy molds sound like your best choice. Making each one out of fondat is going to be quite time consuming.

try this link http://www.candymoldcentral.com/scripts/prodList.asp. They look like they should be about the right size for a cupcake, but they may still be a little large. This one looks a little better but it's just the helmet http://sweetnfancy.com/Shop/product_info.php?cPath=2_49_66&products_id=966
