I'm making a cake for my mother. She wanted Chocolate pudding, but she can't refrigerate it since it's a beach party. There is shade, but the weather for Sat is 86F. Any ideas for an alternative filling that can withstand a 6hrs out of the fridge? It's a 1/4 sheet cake with no stacking.
I recently done a cake with chocolate bavarian creme that you buy in the sleave. although, I wonder if the shelf-stable chocolate pudding would work? hth
Shelf stable pudding is only stable until open. (Are we talking about the little cups?) Then it must be refrigerated. The sleeve filling would be perfect.
