i love this cake i wanted to do this cake just for fun and add it to my pictures since i am a beginner.

how do i make the lid is it from a cake or something else?

The lids are usually styrofoam or foamcore boards covered with fondant icon_biggrin.gif

but where do i get one? Also how can i get the one that has edges like a lid? i am so lost lol

You can get them any place you get your cake dummies. You can actually get them at Michaels in the floral accessories dept. you may need to get a styro foam cutter there too. You can use the cutter to trim any way you need too but most of the time you just leave it flat. The illusion is that its a lid. The flowers are attached to the top. Use a dowel rod place in the cake below and extending up to meet the "lid". Good Luck. If you're a beginner. Really Good Luck.
