get my gumpaste roses to have a shine. I'm making them right now and they look so dull.
Is there anything I can used to give them a nice shinny look and not a dry look..

standard method:

steam them.

over a pot of boiling water
with a tea kettle at full boil
one of those clothes steamers.

only takes a few seconds.

just remember -- do NOT touch the flower until dry.

Steam is hot hot hot -- and will burn you if not careful

PS -- is the Joffy under a new name? (if so -- mets better!)

Steam them after they are totally dry, or else they would probably collapse.

You can also paint them when they are totally dry, if you need a brighter color than you got. Just use gel color mixed with vodka.
