I want to buy a character book so I can put something special to my cakes. Does any one have any idea of which book is really worth the money?

Please help me with this.

Thank you

I was thinking to buy the one from Maisie Parrish "Fun and Original Character Cakes"or "Marzipan Magic" icon_redface.gif

Which one do you recommend? I saw "Dream Wedding Cakes" and it looks that it has a lot..

Thank you

I have a scanned copy of Dream Wedding Cakes, but the ones that I actually liked enough to buy were the books to make children's cakes, because it was really useful to me the way she tells how to make the shaped cakes without shaped pans.

I have taken classes with Maisie and I often refer to her book, "Cakes With Character". There are wonderful directions and pictures in that book for making face and figures of all types.

I have 2 of Debbies books Cartoon Cakes and 50 Easy Party Cakes both have tons of characters with step by step instructions and most can be "morphed" into other characters. I love both of them.
