I am trying to make icing to look like tomato sauce for a cookie pizza. When I try to thin my buttercream icing with water or milk it gets a white mottled look to it. What can I thin the icing with to get a nice even color? Or is there another icing I could use for this?
I add all of my ingredients in before i add the powder sugar and it works perfect! Maybe try it that way! Just add a little extra milk ahead of time to get it runnier! It works great for me! Good luck!!
