I was wondering if anyone has used the cream cheese sleeved filling that you can get? I wanted to use cream cheese filling or cream cheese buttercream between the layers of my sons wedding cake in Sept. I will decorated on Friday and the wedding is on saturday evening. I will not be able to refrigerate as my fridges will be full of wedding supper salads ect.
I had heard that the sleeved cream cheese filling doesn't need refrigerated. The cakes will be in a aircondtioning buildings and at my house. Does anyone know if the sleeved cream cheese filling taste good? I don't want it to taste fake, or like chemicals.
Has anyone used real cream cheese filling and its ok left out that long? Have you done this? I am scared to do this as I'm a CDM/CFPP and I have been taught this is a no no !

I have used all flavors of the sleeved fillings and they are awesome. No fake or chemical tastes at all.
I always mix cream cheese filling (sleeved) with a little bit of buttercream......
