Grrrrrrrrr. I have to make some gum paste Hibiscus for a cake next weekend and I have done my research. I have some real ones on the table to look at, I have looked at so many pictures on the site that I am starting to hate Hibiscus, I have watched 2 tutorials and I think these are the hardest flowers I have ever tried to make. The centers are driving my batty. I just cannot get them to look even remotely realistic. Maybe I shold not be trying for realistic? I have 2 different versions of centers drying right now and I guess I will see what they look like after they dry and I color them. Ok, now I am going to make myself a drink and sit down with a big bag of cake scraps and sooth my tension away.
