i used it for my gumpaste and it worked great, question, i trimmed the bottom so when i put it on a cake it will be even, but leaving the top doesn't look that good,so i tried to put a design like cutouts around them and how do i connect them so they don't look they are pieced. thanks

Could you post a picture? It's hard to understand exactly what you are asking.
