My son is going to have two birthday Parties this year, one just me, my husband, and my sister in law will be there, and another for our friends who live nearby.

For "our" party I would really love to make a cake out of cupcakes but how does one get started. I just dont see how organizing the cupcakes will provide a space free surface. I see icing drooping into spaces in my head. Is there a tutorial out there that I missed? Also as I am new to cake central where can I go check out the meanings for all the mss, and shd, (made those up but you get the point) you all use.

icon_lol.gif The thread for the CC acronyms is located in the General forum it is a sticky (meaning it always stays near the top).

Here's the link to it:

I think there might be a tutorial around on how to do a ccc and I'll see if I can find it for you. If I can't I know there are posts in the forum for sure. I do remember reading that you would smear a little bit of bc on the bottom of your cc to make it stay on the board and get them arranged as close as possible but other than that I'll have to look for you.

Just give me a few minutes......

I forgot to mention that when you are lining up your cc you will want to stagger them on every other row so that when you start the next row the cc is in the middle of the gap of the cc above it (hope I'm making sense, lol).

Here's what I found from the forums:
