on a bunch of posts the right side of my screen is cut off so I can't read complete postings. Is anyone else having this prob? I've run my spyware program but it's still viewing that way.

if it's happening in association with posts that have photos --

the problem is the PHOTO.

TOO large.

big hint for all --

Resize your photos so they are a maximum of 800 pixels wide.

when you leave a photo 1,200 or pixels wide it is going to run off the page.

easy to resize at this link: http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

if you use the 760 option combined with "best" quality, your photo be big enough and clear enough to be easily seen and not cause problems with stuff running off the side of the page.

-----

for those posts where the photos are too big....

use CNTR and the - (minus) key on the keypad to zoom OUT. Type will get smaller unfortunately.

can also zoom out using the options on the VIEW menu (same IE or FireFox)

I have the same issue as tiggerjo with the recipes (can't see the measurements because the ad on the left covers it up).

I do use Firefox but my son is doing an on-line course that requires that the pop-ups etc. I haven't used Explorer in ages maybe when he's done I'll get it fixed up again.

If you're using IE 8, then CakeCentral works best in compatability view. It is the button between the address bar and the refresh button at the top of the screen, the one that looks like a page torn in half.

you can toggle Ad Block on/off (tools menu>Adblock Plus Preference>Options>Enable (toggles it on off) (can also be reached by right click on ABP icon in lower right corner of browser)

ditto for pop-up blocking (tools menu>Options>Content tab)
