I am making a volleyball court for my daughter for her birthday. I want to make some players to put on the court. I have never made figures before and was looking for a video, or something that explaines how to make them. I also have questions like, do you use Gum paste or fondant to make them with? Do you make the whole body then cover them in clothes? I would appreciate it if anyone has time to explain in detail the process to me!
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hi Chris! Aine2 has lots of tutorials on how to sculpt figures. Check her out on youtube. She is fabulous and I love listening to her accent! icon_lol.gif

Not sure where your from but this is what I have learned:

for making figures I use a 50/50 mix of fondant and gumpaste.

I find that wilton fondant is best when using it to do figures and flowers with the gumpaste. It holds up real well and chances are no ones gonna eat the figures (wilton + gumpaste = YUCKY taste)
