I'm looking for a moist yellow cake recipe to make from scratch that will hold up to the weight of one or two layers, with supports. Here in England some supplies can be hard to find so I need to keep it a simple as poss.
Everything I seem to have a go at seems to be very heavy and tastless. Thanks
I like toba garrets moist yellow cake. I think it can be found on the epicurious website.
I second Toba Garrett's Yellow cake recipe!! I made it today for the 1st time and it's the best scratch cake I've ever had. I used her French vanilla BC to ice and it was heavenly.
