I am making a wedding cake for my neice. She wants edible sunflowers and daisies on her cake. I've got how to make the daisies but need an easy make ahead way to make the sunflowers. Can you help???

For sunflowers, I just use a daisy cutter and roll each petal a bit wider using a cel stick.( toothpicks or skewers work too) Then use a circle cutter to make the brown center. To texture the center, I use the grass tip #233 and that works well.

You can also use a mesh strainer to make a textured impression in the sunflower's center.
