I'm trying to find a recipe for either a pound cake or sponge cake that is dense enough to carve for 3D cakes but yet is still moist and tasty. Does anyone have a good recipe? It can be for either a doctored box cake or a scratch recipe as long as it's yummy and carveable I don't care which.
