Model car atop a small sheet cake. Groom requested skid marks behind it> Looked in gallery but couldn't find any. Anybody know an easy way to do it? Thanks!

small sponge width of tire dipped in pure food color and pulled across the fondant.

a flat artist's brush width of tire should work as well.

----

if BC -- flat tip size of tire and then lay down a ribbon

How about just putting down a couple of lines of black bc and dragging a paint brush through it, causing the color to fade out like skid marks.....

Use a toy car. (new) Paint tires with Hershey's syrup. Run car across cake (brake suddenly to cause skids.) Duff did this on AOC. icon_lol.gif

I was going to suggest something similar to Win.
Get toy car tyres, cover with edible paint (or black paste colour mixed with a little vodka), then roll the tyres behind the cake. Then you'll get the tyre print in the skidmarks.
