I've just baked my very first fruit cake, which I need for a birthday at end of this month. The fruit was soaked in brandy last night. Now that the cake is cooked, I'm not sure how best to store it. I would really appreciate some advice.
Usually a covered tin works fine.
I've read that covering with a cheesecloth facilitates the ripening with liquor, but I've never made one with alcohol....
