My sister wants me to make her a red topsy turvy cake for her birthday--my first one---YEAH!!! I have a week to get my thoughts together. I asked what her favorite colors are...she says red. She won't give me any other colors. Any suggestions on what colors will blend well with red???

Red and white.
Red and black.
Red, white, and black.
Red and purple.
Red and orange.

That's all I've got.

Red and navy blue.
I knew this company where the employees wore navy blue suits with a red shirt under the jackets. I fell in love with this combo instantly.

I would do red and white flowers.

Buy the red fondant, that way you get a bright red.

I would say look in the galleries under Color Scheme, in the red/pink section. Find something you think looks good together and use it! I'm a visual person, so I have trouble picturing what certain colors look like together without actually seeing it. HTH

I like the red and brown suggestion. And red and navy goes together great as well!
