I'm attempting my first baseball cap cake w/ fondant & gumpaste this week, can anyone tell me how to achieve 'navy' blue coloring for my fondant? I'm thinking royal blue w/ black? Help! Thanks! Beth

I know that I used blue and purple, with a bit of black. I can't remember the exact shade of blue that I used though. Let me see if I can figure it out!

Ok - I found it! Here's a link to the actual article itself!

And here's the answer that I found in the article.
Navy Blue   1 Sky Blue + 1 Violet

Although it doesn't call for black, I found that I had to add a little bit of black to make the color actually turn navy. It was just kind of dark cobalt blue until I used the black.

Hope this helps!
