I have been using Satin Ice Fondant with good results. But the last 2 cakes I have done, the fondant pools around the bottom of the cake by morning. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Is it the humidity, am I not rolling it thin enough? Anyone have a solution to this? Thanks icon_sad.gif

Usually it helps to bake and fill the day before you fondant the cake, so it has time to settle. Otherwise, if it settles after the fondant is on, those wrinkles will develop. I don't use Satin Ice, but I think the same concept applies to the different brands icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the reply. thumbs_up.gif I always bake the day before but never thought about the settling part. Duh that does make a lot of sense. icon_biggrin.gif
