i was just asked to make a bud light can cake. . . if anyone has made one, is it hard to put fondant on sideways?? i've never done that before, but since i am making the can upright, i will have to either roll the cake in the fondant on its side or try to put the fondant on the side while it's standing. it'll be a few layers of round cake too, so i am little worried if it'll be smooth or if it'll have indentations where the layers meet. is there a good way to avoid this?
i am thinking maybe making a 6-pack so each can could be smaller n easier to wrap with fondant.

You will have to put a layer of cuttercream or ganache, to smoothen out the indentation. You can do the tape method. Roll out your fondant just like tape and unroll it while applying to the cake.
