Hi all, in class the teacher gave us some gumpaste to make the little rose, i mentioned there was a recipe for gumpaste on the back of the wilton gumtex container and she said no that's gum tex. but there is a recipe. so is it or not Thank you

I have not looked at a can of gumtex but I have read many posts where people have used gumtex to make gumpaste. Many have added it to fondant to make gumpaste. So I'd say if there is a recipe on the can then yes, it is gumpaste. There are many recipes for gumpaste, so you will probably need to try several before you find what works best for you.
