Hi all,
I'm starting Wilton Course two in a couple of days and next week we work with royal icing. I know everything has to be completely grease free for this. What is a good way to make sure every trace of grease is gone. I don't have a dishwasher, so I have to wash by hand. Is there something I can use besides grease-fighting dish soap just to make sure?
Thanks for the help,
Maranda

I have never had trouble w/grease and royal. I often wash by hand. As long as you use Dawn and hot water it should be fine. Actually royal is not *that!* touchy.
Some say to rinse in vinegar but I seldom has it on hand so don't.

I've also heard lemons help.
