Freezing Cakes

i have to make a wedding cake for the first time. i have baked all the cakes and put them in the freezer. what i need to know is how long before i decorate them do i need to take them out of the freezer.

I usually let mines thaw in the counter for an hour or so and start torting.

Cakes defrost pretty quick...I would say take them out like 30 minutes before you plan to decorate or so depending on how big they are. I have taken mine out and they are fine to decorate.

cakes do defrost quickly. i usually take mine out about 30 minutes before. because i don't split cakes well, i need mine on the firm side. my cakes are usually partly frozen while i'm frosting but by the time anyone eats it, which is usually a few hours later, it's completely thawed and at room temp.

thank yall so much. the cake i have to ice are a 14in, 12in, and 8in.
i have a lot of them to ice. i have 6 8in to decorate. i am so nervous. this is my first wedding cake and i am scared i might ruin my friends daughters wedding. so i thank yall so much for the imput. i have 14 day til the wedding so pray that i can do it
