I am working on my 5th cake ever and its a baby shower cake. The idea came from here of the ducks in a barrel. I am making a chocolate cake and would like to use the chocolate cream cheese filling. Can I use this to make the wall to hold in the filling or do I need to use like a stiff butter cream? Any help would be great. Thanks angie
If you want to make a dam using cream cheese filling, just make it stiffer by adding more powdered sugar. Try the recipe from designmeacake.com--the crusting cream cheese buttercream.
