How long can you keep frozen buttercream transfers in the freezer? Also, when they start getting back to room temperature will they begin to sweat and run? Do I need to keep the cake in the fridge after putting the transfer on?

Not sure how long you can keep them because I always do them the day I make the cake. I keep them in the freezer for about 90 minutes and then place them on the cake. I have never had a problem with them running though and I do not refrigerate the cake after putting my transfers on.

HTH.

Thanks! Wow, just 90 minutes. That makes things a little easier for me. I've got two cakes I am doing this weekend and I was trying to figure out time lines. I only do this as a hobby for friends and family.
