I have a request for a any kind of cake with vanilla custard.. any ideas on a really good cake that would go with custard?
Also, I am having some problems with my cakes being to crummy is there anything I can do to fix this? I really want my cakes to be more spongey
I think vanilla/almond cake, a sponge cake or an angel food cake would be divine with the custard.
I always use the cake mix extender listed in the recipes section and I get a denser cake every time. Also, try taking your oven down by 25 degrees.
Chocolate cake will do but then again it depends on the custard recipe.
