Help! I've never done this before!

Are homemade rkt's better for sculpting that store bought?

Do you wait until they are room temp?

Do you cover with b'cream before covering in fondant?

Any other tips?

Thanks so much!!

Homemade treats will be cheaper, makes more, and will dry more firmly if you leave out the butter. Crushing the cereal will make forming things a little more smooth.

Buttercream will give you a smoother surface for the fondant and allow the fondant to stick to it.

Using the treats after they have cooled will prevent you work from falling apart.

Purchased treats are great for quick use or for small jobs.
