My friend just asked me to make her a cake out of the blue, for no occasion. So I did icon_smile.gif It's a round cake with blue and green balls surrounding the bottom edge.

But the problem is I have no clue what to put on the top for a design! Seeing as there is no theme I kind of have too many choices I can't think of anything.

Someone help with just some designs I could cut out with fondant or gumpaste icon_smile.gif

Thanks in advance!

flowers, different size circles, different shapes. Take a look at your cutters and see what looks good.

I use those kind of cakes (when you don't have a theme at all) to try something new and make it a learning experience. But I am new and have lots of things to learn so I always look for opportunities to try something new.

What about doing blue & green circles all over it to go with the bottom edge
