Hi..I am using Sharon's Sugar Shack Ganache recipe from the Topsy Turvey DVD. I have a Christening Cake I am working on and using Ganache to cover my cake instead of Buttercream for the first time. Here's my problem...my Dear 6yr old daughter has either lost the first DVD or, it's stuck somewhere in the DVD player. I tried emailing Sharon, but she's on vacation this week! All I need to know is how to get the stuff on my cakes. I have already made the recipe and it's sitting on the counter until tomorrow when I need to cover the cake. If you don't feel comfortable giving away "state secrets", can you PM me or just give me a "general" tutorial in how I should cover the cake? Thanks so much! icon_cry.gif

I just apply it just like buttercream. I also use a hot spatula to smoothen it out.
