I was wondering if anyone had a great idea to attach edible pearls to a cake so you don't get that bulge of frosting behind the pearl. I am looking to do a cake with pearls ranging from 2mm to 6mm. Thanks for the help.

I think the frosting is the only way because the pearls (even the smallests) are heavy to stand on their own, I'm sorry, I know it doesn't look good but you need to try to hide the frosting the best way possible, as far as I know it's the only way.

you can use water or edible glue. you might need to try chocolate or royal icing, and just be very careful.
