If I made my cakes on Sunday and they are for a party Saturday, will they be okay in the refridgerator for 5 days? Thank you
I wouldn't expect them to be fresh after that long. I would recommend freezing them as opposed to storing them in the refrigerator. If you freeze them, they will retain their freshness and moisture better. Just wrap them in cling wrap, then foil, and freeze them. To thaw, take them out of the freezer the day before you need them, leave the wrapping on, and let them come to room temperature. Once they are thaw, remove the wrapping and they are good to go.
