I'm new to the site and I'm making my sons b-day cake with marshmellow fondant (using marshmellow fluff) and I was wondering
1- do you have to cover the cake with iceing if your using marshmellow fondant or is that with regualr fondant?
2-when you store marshmellow fondant do you refridgerate it or store at room temperature?
If anyone could help me out I would appriciate it.

I use the MMF all the time, yes frost your cake with bc before you put fondant on. It will fill in any imperfections and make for a smoother looking fondant. I dont put alot of frosting on but more than a crumbcoat. I also keep the fondant in ziplock bags in my pantry. Not in fridge, you can keep it there but then you have to let it come to room temp to roll out. It will keep for weeks at room temp.
