What a great story and wonderful ending for her. Thank God, that caking was able to help her from losing her home.

Her cake looks like the apple stack cake that my mother in law and my grandmothers used to make. My mother in law made one for a bake sale for my DS school back in 1983....we got 20.00 or 25.00 (sorry can't remeber which amount it was) from that cake back then.

If this is the kind of apple cake she is doing, I can fully understand, how she could sell enough to help save her home
